I baked another little cake today, because I really wanted to use this super cute butterfly sprinkles. I used a buttercream with sweetened condensmilk to not melt the sprinkles (250g of butter whipped together with 200g of sweetened condensmilk), which I dyed in different shades of pink. For icing the cake I used again the upside-down-method.
After I frosted the cake, I filled the buttercream in 3 piping bags with the tips 1M, 2D and 32. You can see clearly the difference between the 1M in dark pink and the 2D in light pink. 2D gives you more a flower shape. After I piped all of the frosting, I added a generous amount of butterfly sprinkles to the top and added single Butterflys on the sides.
